Project: Hyams Creek embankment clearing and replanting
The Summit team cleared this embankment of overgrown and established weeds to make way for a range of natives to be planted. This regeneration activity will create a better ecology for the area and reduce weed spread via the creek to other areas.
A 25T Excavator with mulching head, specialized machinery, was used so that Kiama Council can replant and stabilize the creek bank to prevent erosion and manage noxious weed growth.
