Summit Open Space Services completed the installation of 147 various trees in 45 litres to the street verges throughout the newly developed estate in Caddens.
All trees were installed as per specification with 50% of existing material retained and blended with an organic mix.
Summit also completed the upgrade of parks within Caddens estate at the same time as the street tree plantings, with the installation of 2000 140mm low growing shrubs, mulching of garden areas and the installation of 10 100 litre trees.
The trees have been successfully established with the careful maintenance provided by Summit Open Space Services.
Caddens Estate residents will benefit from cool air and shade for years to come with this initiative by Penrith City Council and Summit Open Space Services.
